Is The Original Popcorn House a franchise?
No. The Original Popcorn House is not currently a franchise, however we are set up for franchising. If you are interested in franchising a location please call 561-865-7300. We are proud to be a local family owned and operated gourmet popcorn house in the City of Delray Beach. We currently have one location in Downtown Delray Beach, FL just off the “famous Atlantic Avenue.”

How long before my event should I contact The Original Popcorn House?
We suggest a minimum of 4-6 weeks. This will allow us time to for you to decide on your flavor(s), color theme, table scape design, and any personalized labels and bags that you may require. The more elaborate your party the longer that lead-time is needed. (We want your popcorn offering to make the party “pop”!)
Can I have gourmet popcorn at my special event?
Yes! Please see our events tab on this site for the details. You may email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org with your questions and requests. Please provide the best way for us to contact you regarding your event in your email. We will contact you within 24 hours of receiving your email. See special Occasions/Corporate tab.
Can I send to a PO Box, A.P.O. box or F.P.O.?
No! UPS must have a physical address. Due to the inability to track the order we do not ship to A.P.O box or F.P.O.
Can I add a gift message to my order?
Yes! During the check out process, Please check the box for “Gift Message.” All gift messages will be on an Original Popcorn House branded card.
Should someone be home to sign for the package?
We highly recommend someone is home to receive and sign for the popcorn. We strongly discourage popcorn exposed to the elements for any length of time after delivery. If your package can be delivered to a work address we suggest you ship there. This will avoid re-delivery attempts and exposure to the outside. Our orders are shipped without the need for a signature, but we suggest someone be home. UPS will leave the item at the door if no one is home. Please notify your recipient to be on the look out for the most delicious package delivery they will ever receive. Neither the Original Popcorn house nor the shipping company calls the recipient prior to shipping.
Can I ship to an International Address?
Yes we ship to Canada. UPS Rates are higher to ship to Canada than domestic rates.
Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?
Yes! Additional shipping charges are required. All orders are shipped 2nd day air. Please allow 2-5 days from date your order is shipped from our Delray Beach, FL location.
Can shipments arrive on a weekend?
No! All orders are delivered Mon.-Fri. (holidays excluded)US orders placed today will be ready to ship within 48 hours. Delivery arrival is determined based on the date of the shipment and the location it is going to. Ground shipping delivery dates are not guaranteed. If you want your popcorn gift to arrive on a specific date (weekdays only) select 2nd day or Next Day air shipping. For example: If you place an order for NEXT DAY AIR delivery on a Friday your recipient will not receive it until Tuesday. It takes us approximately 24-48 hours to prepare your order fresh from our kitchen before we ship. This guarantees our product will arrive fresh every time.

Do you deliver?
Yes locally and we ship anywhere in the US and Canada. We will deliver from Swinton to A1A and North of 1st street to South of 4th or Lake Ida. We offer Beach deliveries and hotel deliveries daily! How do I keep my popcorn fresh?
The Original Popcorn House pops all of our popcorn fresh for each order we fill. We recommend that you consume your popcorn with 7-10 days after opening. We also recommend that you keep your Popcorn sealed in an airtight container that is away from, sunlight, heat and humidity. Do not refrigerate, microwave or freeze your popcorn.
Will my chocolate and candy popcorn melt during shipping?
We highly recommend that if you are planning to ship any of our specialty chocolate flavors or premium candy flavors then cold packing is a must. We cannot guarantee your popcorn remains fresh without cold packing. Cold packing requires additional shipping charges. Please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss additional delivery options and charges. Your satisfaction and happiness is our highest priority.
How many people will each tin size approximately serve?
Based on a 2 cup per person consumption a 6.5-gallon tin will serve 50 people. The 3.5-gallon tin will serve approximately 28 people. The 2-gallon tin will serve approximately 16 people. Our 1-gallon tin serves approximately 8, but we think it’s perfect for 1. (Our suggestion is to purchase your own tin so you get to eat as much as you want!)
Will you make special flavors and colors upon request?
Yes! We are happy to fill special request orders. We do have a 5-gallon minimum on any specially created order. Please email us at email@example.com to request the special flavor and color (candy style only) you desire.
Do you have a list of all of your flavors?
We change our flavors frequently, however we have our signature flavors that you can purchase year round. We have provided a list of all of our flavors on our website. You can order any of our special order flavors for a minimum of 5 gallons of each flavor/color.
